Our next exposition

November 12th and 13th I will be taking part of a big exposition and competition in the beautiful Oude Kerk in Amsterdam.
The exposition is organized from the "Nationale Kunstdagen." We have the opportunity to take part of this exposition in consequence of us being selected in the National Exposition that took place last may in Utrecht as part of one of the most appreciated artists that day.

At the exposition 120 artists will be presenting their works in these 2 days with a variety of 360 different art works exposed! Various gallery
owners and private collectors will be able to buy paintings throughout the exposition days but also there will be held a competition where only the first 3 will be priced. It’s a an exiting challenge I am ready to dive in. I will be giving out 15 free tickets . So please let me know who is seriously interested to be there.

Returning to my home city

At this moment I am announcing my departure tuesday 13th september back to Italy. This time I won't be going for a simple vacation break. I am planning to open the roads for a couple new possible expositions. I will be contacting a major stone sculpture artist and painter living in my home city Verona witch definitely is willing to help me on organizing a new expo. I lost contact with this man 4 years ago. So it will be great to see him again and show him my new works and discuss on a possible exposition to make in Verona city.
As world artists and in constant moving we are determined to expand our art and businessopportunities over the dutch confines... Asking me to stay in Holland will be like locking me up in a cage. And while I find Holland to be a great public and country to work and present my art to, I do have to manage to parallel my “need of moving” along with it.

"Guardando Attraverso". A new money painting.

Here is a photo of my new painting. I worked to get this for my new collection of money paintings. What do you think?

At this moment I am creating -together with my brother- a set of 15 paintings with subject the money which my vision is to show in an exposition organized totally by me. The expo title will be "Your Life" but it’s a word still to consider. If you have some ideas about that, let me know!

In these paintings my inspiration comes from the life I live and the world I live in. My vision of the
world and society. As these paintings are an expression of how the world is through the eyes of
an artist like me and Daniele. We both agree vastly on the subject fortunately. That's the advantage of being brothers who have passed almost their entire life together and experienced the same situations. In the money paintings I am also trying to trigger a reaction (positive or negative) from every person who looks at it. Their meaning may be more important then mine.

Being a vastly debatable subject I know there is a lot to say on this. What money means for every single person, but also how does it affect the people in general. It's interesting to see how a simple piece of paper bill can attract the reaction of many. I am just so curios to know what people think about this. what is their idea about it...

I've been lately analyzing and studying the words of an Italian philosopher and independent film maker Silvano Agosti. He was the direct inspiration in starting this, I may also say. Even though the philosopher doesn't mention money at all in his books or films, he did trigger the brain storming in me for this idea. I am not going to go in details over this man. But he is mainly a person who discusses the "sense of life", "humanity", and the "search of happiness".

Few may agree on his ideas but i personally got lots of positive inspiration from him. What
may connect us with this mans thoughts may be our continuous travels, our continuous searching, discovering, and looking for those answers to life.

Here is a link to another money painting recently completed together with my brother: http://calsolaroart.blogspot.com/2011/07/stato-di-vita.html Basically the upper part was painted by me and the lower by Daniele.
